With certain regional British accents (and Australian) the word “no” sounds to my earl like: “noy” — what’s up with that? I’m not poking fun or ‘teasing,’ just always noticed that with amusement. Does it transfer to many words ending in “o”? So: casino, Leggo, Groucho=casinoy, Leggoy, Grouchoy?
